What On-page tools are#
On-page tools (under On-page in the left menu, next to Content writer) is a set of generators and checkers for the code and files that sit on your website. The generators and checkers are free: they make no paid requests and read only your project settings and your last site crawl.
Without a crawl, the generators still work from the project details; the screen suggests "Run a site crawl" so it can pre-fill and check more.
The tabs: Overview · AI checker & Humanizer · Agent to WordPress · Schema markup · Meta & social · FAQ builder · Local NAP kit · Business posts · robots.txt · llms.txt · XML sitemap · hreflang · Image alt text · Headings · Redirects. Each tab has its own address, so you can bookmark it. Agent to WordPress has its own page: Agent to WordPress.
Nothing is written to your site automatically. You copy or download the result and add it yourself, or hand it to your developer — or, on a connected WordPress site, use Push to WordPress to get a preview in Agent to WordPress that you apply yourself.
Overview#
Nine checks from your last crawl, each with a status and a button that opens the right generator: structured data present, titles and descriptions, social cards, FAQ, contact details, robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap, image alt text and headings.
AI checker & Humanizer#
Paste a text (an article, a page or a post, up to 3,000 words) to see how machine-like it reads.
- Check · free gives an AI-likeness score, a verdict, and how much of the text looks AI-like, shows some signs, or reads as human. Every sentence is highlighted by level; point at a sentence to see why. Texts under 80 words are too short to judge.
- Humanize · N credits rewrites the whole text in plain, varied, natural language. It keeps every fact, the language and the structure. You see the score Before and After, can Copy the result or Use this text to check it again. The price depends on the length and is on the button; you confirm it before anything is charged.
The score is our estimate of writing patterns, not proof of who wrote a text. The Humanizer is a writing aid, not a way to hide AI use — read the result once; you know your facts and your voice best.
AI Content Checker#
On-page › AI Content Checker (in the menu right under Content writer) is the full, paid version of the check above. Paste a text, enter a page address, or pick a Content writer draft (Content writer also has a Check for AI button). Add a target keyword if you want its use checked.
- The price is on the button and in the confirmation — credits per started 500 words. If the language model does not answer, the result uses our local signals and nothing is charged.
- The result: the AI-likeness estimate with a likely range and a band (Likely human, Unclear, Mixed, Likely AI), every sentence highlighted (solid underline = reads AI-written, dotted = some signs), and the signals behind the number.
- Recommendations sorted by impact: what to change, where, why, and a concrete rewrite. Apply puts the rewrite into the text on the screen (free); Fix with AI rewrites selected paragraphs (credits per paragraph); Run again re-checks the changed text.
- SEO & E-E-A-T checks: first-hand experience, specific details, generic phrasing, target keyword use and stuffing, readability, structure, length, and how much of the text repeats your other pages (needs a Site audit).
- Every check is saved to the project's history; Export CSV downloads the recommendations and sentences.
It is an estimate, not proof of who wrote a text — use it to make the text clearer and more useful for readers.
Schema markup#
Generates JSON-LD structured data for 19 types (LocalBusiness and its subtypes, Organization, Product, Article, FAQPage, Event, Service and more), checked against Google's required and recommended fields.
- Pick the type and, for local businesses, the Exact type (for example Dentist, Plumber).
- Click Fill from project and crawl — fields known from the project and your pages are filled. Nothing is invented; unknown fields stay empty.
- Complete the fields. Each type shows a badge: Google rich result, No longer shown by Google (for example FAQ rich results) or No Google rich result.
- The checker flags mistakes: invalid URLs, numbers, dates and durations not in ISO 8601, currency not in ISO 4217, country codes, phone without "+", coordinates with too few decimals, self-serving ratings.
- Copy the JSON-LD into the page
<head>.
Already on your site lists the structured data found on crawled pages, with types and validity.
Meta & social#
- Title and meta description with length measured in pixels (Google truncates by width, not characters) and a Google preview.
- Open Graph and X (Twitter) cards: share image (1200×630), titles, descriptions, site name, handle, with a Social preview.
- HTML for the <head> ready to copy.
- Every page of the site — a table from your crawl with each page's title, description and issues, including duplicate titles.
FAQ builder#
Collects questions people really ask — from Search Console queries, your AI visibility prompts, "People also ask" and headings on your site. Tick questions, add your own, write the answers, pick a Style (Collapsible or Headings and paragraphs). You get HTML, Markdown and the FAQPage schema together. Questions without an answer are left out.
Local NAP kit#
One consistent Name, Address and Phone for everywhere: a block for your website (with microdata), plain text for directories, LocalBusiness schema, and a check against your crawled pages showing where the details differ.
Business posts#
Three post variants for your Google Business Profile, within Google's limits (1,500 characters, event title length, call-to-action rules). Copy and post them in Google. See also Google Business Profile.
robots.txt#
- Start from: A typical site, WordPress, WooCommerce, or Allow everything.
- Crawlers grouped as Search engines, AI search and assistants, AI model training, and SEO tool crawlers — set each to Default, Allow or Block. You can, for example, allow AI search assistants (they answer with links to you) but block AI training crawlers.
- Paths to block or always allow, sitemap URLs, crawl-delay (Google ignores it), extra lines.
- Test it — enter URLs or paths and crawler names; see Allowed or Blocked per crawler, using the same matching rules search engines use.
- Live robots.txt now — your current file from the last crawl.
llms.txt#
A summary file for AI assistants in the llms.txt format: site name, a one-sentence summary, sections with links to your key pages and an "Optional" section. Also generates llms-full.txt with page text. Upload the file to the root of your site.
XML sitemap#
Builds a sitemap from your crawl with only indexable pages (no redirects, errors, noindex or non-canonical pages), images included, split into several files with an index above 50,000 URLs. Set last modified and change frequency, leave out patterns, add URLs the crawl did not reach. Left out lists every excluded page with the reason. Add the sitemap line to robots.txt as shown.
hreflang#
For sites in several languages or countries. List the versions; get <link rel="alternate" hreflang> tags for every version's <head> (each lists all others, itself and an x-default) or the same in sitemap form. Language and country codes are checked.
Image alt text#
Images from your crawl without alt text, with a suggested alt built from the file name or page title. Edit the suggestion so it describes the picture. Export CSV.
Headings#
Pages with no H1, more than one H1, or no H2, from your crawl.
Redirects#
Write old → new pairs and get rules for Apache (.htaccess) and nginx. Chains (A → B → C) are detected and shortened to direct redirects.
Common questions#
Do these tools change my website? No. They generate code and files; you add them to the site.
Why are fields empty after "Fill from project and crawl"? That information is not in the project or on the crawled pages. Rankfinity never fills in guesses.
Does Google still show FAQ rich results? For most sites, no. The FAQ type is marked "No longer shown by Google". An FAQ section can still help visitors and AI assistants.
Do I need llms.txt? It is optional and not a ranking factor in Google. It gives AI tools a clean summary of your site.
Are these tools paid? No. All 13 tabs are free.
