What the dashboard is for#

Dashboard is the first item in the left menu. It answers "how is this project doing?" on one screen, using data you already have. Opening it costs nothing — it reads your last rank check, map scan, AI run, site crawl, saved domain data and the Google data you synced.

If a block is empty, it says why ("Not measured", "No map for this project", "Connect Google") instead of showing zero. When several blocks are empty on a new project, one button at the top, Fill the dashboard, fills what is missing in one go. See Projects and settings for what it includes.

The KPI row#

The cards at the top each show one number, an icon, a change badge and a small trend line (sparkline):

CardWhat it means
Keywords / Top 3 / Top 10From Rank tracking: how many tracked keywords you have and how many sit in the top 3 and top 10 on the last check
TrafficEstimated organic traffic from your last saved domain overview, or real clicks if Search Console is connected
Backlinks / Ref. domainsFrom your last backlinks summary
AI answers / Mentions / CitedFrom your last AI visibility run: answers collected, answers that name you, answers that link to your site
Map (ARP)Average rank position on the map across all points of your last scan

The change badge compares with the previous measurement of the same kind. ▲ green means better, ▼ red means worse. For positions a lower number is better, so a drop in position number shows as ▲ green.

Sparklines. Point at a mini chart to see the value and date of that point (for example "Week ending Sep 28 · 19 ▲ 0.2"). Click a card to open the screen it comes from. A line needs at least two measurements; with one you see "Not enough history yet".

Organic search block#

  • Keywords, Top 3, Top 10, Traffic, Ad value (est.) — from the last saved domain overview of your domain (the whole site, not just tracked keywords). "Ad value (est.)" is shown only to administrators; see Ad value (est.).
  • Rank tracking line — "Rank tracking: N keywords · N in top 3 · N in top 10" for your tracked list.
  • Organic keywords by intent and Branded vs non-branded traffic — splits of the same data.
  • Top organic competitors and Organic pages by traffic.
  • Top countries — where your Search Console clicks come from, with flag, clicks, impressions, CTR and position. View all opens the full Countries report.

A line under the organic block shows Google AI Overviews: "AI Overviews appear for N of M keywords · cited in K", read from your rank checks.

Domain rank on a 0–100 scale, backlinks, referring domains, followed vs nofollow, and new and lost links. It reads your last backlinks summary.

Local · Maps block#

Only for projects with a Business Profile. Shows ARP (average rank position), the share of grid points where you are in the top 3, the change since the previous scan, and keywords close to the top 3. See Map grid scans.

AI visibility block#

Answers, mentions and citations from your last run, with a link to AI Visibility. See AI visibility.

Search Console and Google Analytics tiles#

When Google is connected for the project, two small dashboards appear:

Search Console — Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Avg. position for the last 28 days up to the last synced date, each with a change against the previous 28 days and a sparkline. Below: Top queries and Top pages (up to 5 each, with clicks), "Last synced …" and View in Search Console →.

Google Analytics — Sessions, Users, Engagement rate and Key events for 30 days, with changes and sparklines. Below: Top sources / medium and Top pages (up to 5 each), and View in Google Analytics →, which opens the GA4 & Search Console section in GA4 mode.

Both tiles show the same number of rows, so they line up side by side.

The tiles always show what to do next:

  • Connect — Google is not connected; one click starts the Google sign-in, then the property list opens.
  • Pick a property — Google is connected, but no property is chosen for this project. A window lists your properties; pick one and click Connect and sync. See Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Importing… — the first sync is running.
  • Sync now / Retry — the last sync failed or is old.
  • Clients and view-only members see a sentence instead of buttons.

Search Console data arrives from Google with a 2–3 day delay, which is why its window ends at the last synced date, not today.

Performance chart#

A chart of the project over time with Monthly / Weekly and 8W / 26W / 52W switches. Each line needs at least two periods of history.

Site health and crawled pages#

From the last site crawl: the health score and Crawled pages by HTTP status (200, 3xx redirects, 4xx, 5xx). Click through to the Site audit.

Project goal#

If you set a goal in project settings (for example "10 keywords in the top 3 by a date"), progress shows on the dashboard.

The All projects strip#

Below the project dashboard is a separate band labelled All projects with a "Workspace" badge. Its numbers are across every project in your workspace, not just the selected one: average rank, top 3 map coverage, movers since the last scan, organic clicks for 30 days, and keywords close to the top 3 (positions 4–15). View all opens All projects.

Common questions#

Why do the dashboard and Search Console show different click numbers? They should match for the same 28-day window. If one is newer, the other may not have synced yet. Click Sync now in the tile.

Why is traffic marked "est."? Without Search Console, traffic is an estimate from the saved domain overview. Connect Search Console for real clicks.

Does opening the dashboard cost credits? No. Only the Fill the dashboard button and the scan buttons that show a price do.

The map card is missing. The project has no Business Profile. Add it in Settings › Project.

"Tracked 6" but I have 3 keywords? The count includes each keyword once per device when you track desktop and mobile.
