How is organic traffic estimated?
We take every keyword the site ranks for in Google, multiply the search volume by the share of clicks its position usually gets, and add them up. It is an estimate, not the site's analytics.
Why is the number different from Google Analytics?
Analytics counts every visit from every channel. This estimate covers organic Google search only, for one country, and uses typical click-through rates by position.
Can I check any website?
Yes — any public domain. Private addresses, IP addresses and internal hostnames are not accepted.
How often is the data updated?
The same domain and country are kept for a day. A free account tracks your own sites on a schedule.
