Spam score checker
Check how spammy a website's backlink profile looks and see the links with the highest spam score.
How to use it
- Type the domain you want to check.
- Read the overall spam score of its backlinks, from 0 to 100.
- Look at the worst links — the ones worth a closer look or a disavow.
Frequently asked questions
What is a spam score?
A 0–100 estimate of how much a link or a profile looks like spam, based on signals such as thin pages, link farms and unnatural anchors. Higher is worse.
Is a high spam score a Google penalty?
No. It is our index's estimate, not a Google metric. It points you to links worth checking by hand.
Should I disavow every link with a high score?
No. Disavow only links you are sure are manipulative and that you could not remove. Most sites never need to.
Why does every site have some spammy links?
Scrapers and directories link to almost everyone. A few low-quality links are normal.
